I lived in a condo for years and never knew a single person in my building. The main door locks behind you when you enter. I would come in with bags of groceries and they would stare me down all hard then slam the door shut when I was coming up behind them. The police are HORRIBLE. They will look for any reason to pull you over and fine you for anything they can to put money in their pocket and raise money for the municipalities. The women are disgusting. They all have at least one STD so use protection. The roads are riddled with huge potholes everywhere. People screw up their rims all the time. Yet taxes are the highest anywhere. Figure that one out… property taxes and car insurance are beyond unaffordable. People speed up at on ramps when they see you trying to merge. Another big one is when the light turns red in front of you they speed up to get in front of you then slam on their brakes and give you the finger. Everybody thinks they are hard and try to stare you down everywhere you go and they always want to fight. I’m not sure why. They are overly competitive with everything they do. Camden is far worse then Philly and they have a higher crime rate too. Wherever you go it smells like mold and warm fish whether your in the pine barrens or in the city. The cedar water smells awful and stains you brown if you swim in any lake in south jersey. Really gross. People only care about money and looks. They’re really shallow, selfish, and insensitive. Any Jersey girl I’ve dated demanded Tiffany’s jewelry, Coach bags, $200 meals, $1,000 bottle service, etc. When it got too expensive I refused and they would cheat and leave. There is such a lack of morals. You can’t get away from it. So many of them are loud, spoiled, diseased, gold diggers. They don’t have an ounce of class. You will never see anyone from that horrible state laugh or smile ever. It truly is hell on earth.
10 things I hate about NJ:
10 Cost of living – $4 for a gallon of milk? $3 for a loaf of bread? 150K for a modest house (~35K elsewhere)? $900 to rent a modest apartment, when houses cost much less elsewhere. Gym memberships typically cost $100/month. Whole state is insane.
9 Traffic. There are other places where driving 20 miles can take two hours, but they all suck just as bad. The drivers here are particularly rude and do things to piss you off on purpose. Nobody uses turn signals, or Rain X, and people always pull out in front of you without looking.
8 Flat. No mountains, foothills, just flat.
7 Corrupt. Yeah, a cop hit ME in a car accident three years ago, and my insurance is still high. He pulled out as I was crossing a lane, almost all the way across, and hit the side of my car going about 5 mph, then claimed his neck was hurt and sued. Just one personal example of the intense corruption.
6 Taxes, they are insane.
5 People are fucking rude. It’s hard to make any friends in NJ, because people are rude. Say Hi to someone and they think you want something from them.
4 Boring. In South Jersey, you will have to drive for hours to find anything to do. With gas prices how they are in this country, good luck with that shit.
3 Weather. It’s always wind, rain, snow, or hurricanes… constantly. If you get a nice day, you will notice that pollen on mosquitos are about 20X the national average, as is humidity, so good luck with that shit too…
2 Hard to move. This state traps people. The aforementioned taxes, costs, and corruption will force you to beg, borrow, and steal so much just to survive, that it becomes impossible to live elsewhere.
#1 The women. Oh god, are they stupid and ugly. In my years of staying in NJ, I have never met a woman that is remotely attractive. And their attitudes suck to go with it. I could almost bring myself to date one of these bitches if they weren’t so cold, shallow, and bitchy. They all think you want them, too. Ask one for a glass of water because your thirsty, and she’ll tell you she’s taken, like any real men would want their skank ass. Picture Snooki. Here’s another reason to hate New Jersey. I was in a car accident driving my girlfriends car. I was hit I did nothing wronge. I got injured. I do not own a car and do not have car insurance, so who pay’s? You would think that it would be one of the insurance companies would be responcable, right, well you would be wrong. So who is responceable? My daughter because we live together. Can you believe this. A third party is responceable, only in new jersey. No wonder people are leaving in droves, I’m next.
I live in Florida, where we have some of the most dangerous drivers ever to take to the roads. Funny how most of the mean-spirited drivers have New York and New Jersey plates. Many times the plate does not reveal the truth, as it is a rented car. Sometimes it is a transplant, as many living in Florida are, but, wow, an overwhelming percentage of the nasty ones have tell-tale New York and Jersey accents. I’ve met a few, very few, nice ones but overall my impression of New Jersey people is very bad. I work in a vacation call center and New Jersey and New York people are the worst to talk to. Attitudes from Hell. Do us a favor you damned Yankee trash and stay out of Florida. Don’t come here to pollute and ruin our beautiful state. Keep your litter, your foul mouths, and your monstrous attitudes up there in the hole you call a state. I moved out of Jew jersey a few years back. I felt like a criminal there. It seems u need to know every little law there or u are going to get harassed by the tax collectors(cops). I moved to Arizona and was able to buy a $200k home in less then a year it’s bigger and nicer then anything Nj has to offer for that price anywhere!!!

I grew up and lived in NJ until I was 29 and then left for good. “For good” is an understatement. Those years of my adult life were the most miserable I could have ever had. Here I was a great guy with so much to offer (in looks and career etc) yet I could never manage to get a date with a decent NJ woman to save my life. Why? Well I discovered as soon as I left that there is no such thing as a “decent NJ woman”. As NoMoreNJ put it, people in NJ are self-centered, insensitive and materialistic. It couldn’t be said better than that.
The most hideous, awful, rude NJ women believe they’re a 10. Always. They all think they’re god’s gift to men. What’s worse is that the men in NJ are trained like dogs with social programming and such to treat NJ women like they are all that and more. What’s really depressing is how the vicious cycle repeats itself daily. NJ is truly a self sustaining system that succeeds in creating the most miserable creatures in the world.
But as for me, somehow I managed to escape to a much better life. I relocated to Texas for a job. There, I found myself being approached by some of the most beautiful women in the world and to my amazement, they thought I was awesome. Not a day went by when I was made to feel otherwise. It was a complete 180 from NJ. For the first time in my life, I can say that I was truly happy and have never looked back at Nj the same way since.
My advice for any guy who is otherwise miserable still living in NJ would be: Leave. Forget about whatever girl has you sold believing that she is so awesome. Believe me. She’s not worth a minute of your time. AT ALL. No girl from NJ is. If you don’t believe me, find a way to spend some time in another state, especially one in the midwest. To say the least, you won’t miss NJ.

Check this out: In 1985 I moved to New Jersey from Florida and got my license transferred to a New Jersey license. Don’t ask why. It was the biggest mistake of my life. Several months later, my wife was pulled over in my van (still with Florida plates) for speeding and along with her speeding ticket they issued me a citation (I wasn’t even there) because our insurance company dropped our coverage. (a couple months after I changed my license, but hadn’t been notified). I went to court, but lost the case, and was fined 450 dollars and lost my license for six months. I wasn’t happay about it, but at least it was over and done with (I thought). I paid the fine, and got my license back in six months, and a month after that I moved back to Florida (thank God). I turned in my valid Jersey license and got back my Florida license. What I didn’t know was that New Jersey assessed a two hundred fifty dollar insurance surcharge that was to be paid each year for three years for a total of 750 dollars. I wasn’t hiding, but I didn’t think I had to notify the state that I was moving. I honestly thought that this was a free country. A year later, New Jersey suspended my license for non-payment of a surcharge. WTF is an insurance surcharge? I was fined. I paid. I left, and I didn’t have insurance in New Jersey or even a license there. Why didn’t they just tell me how much I owed so I could pay them and get it over with? TWENTY FIVE YEARS LATER, last week, I go to renew my FL DL, and New Jersey has somehow put a hold on it and they want $1347.64 (six hundred + dollars interest), plus another $100.00 for “restoration fees”. I guess the only things that don’t have a statute of limitations is tax, murder and MVR fees. I paid them off, but God damn the state of New Jersey and I hope the entire state falls into the ocean. I will never return to that cesspool.

9 Traffic. There are other places where driving 20 miles can take two hours, but they all suck just as bad. The drivers here are particularly rude and do things to piss you off on purpose. Nobody uses turn signals, or Rain X, and people always pull out in front of you without looking.
8 Flat. No mountains, foothills, just flat.
7 Corrupt. Yeah, a cop hit ME in a car accident three years ago, and my insurance is still high. He pulled out as I was crossing a lane, almost all the way across, and hit the side of my car going about 5 mph, then claimed his neck was hurt and sued. Just one personal example of the intense corruption.
6 Taxes, they are insane.
5 People are fucking rude. It’s hard to make any friends in NJ, because people are rude. Say Hi to someone and they think you want something from them.
4 Boring. In South Jersey, you will have to drive for hours to find anything to do. With gas prices how they are in this country, good luck with that shit.
3 Weather. It’s always wind, rain, snow, or hurricanes… constantly. If you get a nice day, you will notice that pollen on mosquitos are about 20X the national average, as is humidity, so good luck with that shit too…
2 Hard to move. This state traps people. The aforementioned taxes, costs, and corruption will force you to beg, borrow, and steal so much just to survive, that it becomes impossible to live elsewhere.
#1 The women. Oh god, are they stupid and ugly. In my years of staying in NJ, I have never met a woman that is remotely attractive. And their attitudes suck to go with it. I could almost bring myself to date one of these bitches if they weren’t so cold, shallow, and bitchy. They all think you want them, too. Ask one for a glass of water because your thirsty, and she’ll tell you she’s taken, like any real men would want their skank ass. Picture Snooki. Fat, Italian, miss piggy wannabe’s who bathe once a week, yet still think they’re god’s gift to men.

Here’s another reason to hate New Jersey. I was in a car accident driving my girlfriends car. I was hit I did nothing wronge. I got injured. I do not own a car and do not have car insurance, so who pay’s? You would think that it would be one of the insurance companies would be responcable, right, well you would be wrong. I live in Florida, where we have some of the most dangerous drivers ever to take to the roads. Funny how most of the mean-spirited drivers have New York and New Jersey plates. Many times the plate does not reveal the truth, as it is a rented car. Sometimes it is a transplant, as many living in Florida are, but, wow, an overwhelming percentage of the nasty ones have tell-tale New York and Jersey accents. I’ve met a few, very few, nice ones but overall my impression of New Jersey people is very bad. I work in a vacation call center and New Jersey and New York people are the worst to talk to. Attitudes from Hell. Do us a favor you damned Yankee trash and stay out of Florida. Don’t come here to pollute and ruin our beautiful state. Keep your litter, your foul mouths, and your monstrous attitudes up there in the hole you call a state. So, I've lived in NJ all my 18 years, and swear on the Grace of humanity that THE WORST people live here. I don't mean murderers, dictators, and the select few psychopaths; i mean on a general consensus my neighbors are complete, and total D##che-bags! I hate it here, and feel lucky that I have survived long enough to escape next year. More posers live here than there are hairs on my head, the 'messed up' kids who do drugs all have better home situations than I do, drivers are TERRIBLE here, if you have ever experienced a blonde moment imagine that happening to every citizen of NJ (besides the select 200) about 5-8 times a day. I moved here with my spouse about 4 years ago from the west coast. I dont have enough time in my life to write everything I hate about NJ, but the most irritating is the drivers. Its as if nobody took drivers ed and they become even more self righteous on the road. I moved out of Jew jersey a few years back. I felt like a criminal there. It seems u need to know every little law there or u are going to get harassed by the tax collectors(cops). The gun laws are so fucked up to the point of law abiding citizens can’t own or carry weapons but criminals can. I worked there for 16 years and could never afford a house. I moved to Arizona and was able to buy a $200k home in less then a year it’s bigger and nicer then anything Nj has to offer for that price anywhere!!!

More than half of them smoke, do drugs, drink, do hookah and other crap just for fun. I dont though, i think it’s completely stupid. The kids are so fake its unbelievable. I grew up and lived in NJ until I was 29 and then left for good. “For good” is an understatement. Those years of my adult life were the most miserable I could have ever had. Here I was a great guy with so much to offer (in looks and career etc) yet I could never manage to get a date with a decent NJ woman to save my life. Why? Well I discovered as soon as I left that there is no such thing as a “decent NJ woman”. As NoMoreNJ put it, people in NJ are self-centered, insensitive and materialistic. It couldn’t be said better than that.
The most hideous, awful, rude NJ women believe they’re a 10. Always. They all think they’re god’s gift to men. What’s worse is that the men in NJ are trained like dogs with social programming and such to treat NJ women like they are all that and more. What’s really depressing is how the vicious cycle repeats itself daily. NJ is truly a self sustaining system that succeeds in creating the most miserable creatures in the world.
But as for me, somehow I managed to escape to a much better life. I relocated to Texas for a job. There, I found myself being approached by some of the most beautiful women in the world and to my amazement, they thought I was awesome. Not a day went by when I was made to feel otherwise. It was a complete 180 from NJ. For the first time in my life, I can say that I was truly happy and have never looked back at Nj the same way since.
My advice for any guy who is otherwise miserable still living in NJ would be: Leave. Forget about whatever girl has you sold believing that she is so awesome. Believe me. She’s not worth a minute of your time. AT ALL. No girl from NJ is. If you don’t believe me, find a way to spend some time in another state, especially one in the midwest. To say the least, you won’t miss NJ.

Check this out: In 1985 I moved to New Jersey from Florida and got my license transferred to a New Jersey license. Don’t ask why. It was the biggest mistake of my life. Several months later, my wife was pulled over in my van (still with Florida plates) for speeding and along with her speeding ticket they issued me a citation (I wasn’t even there) because our insurance company dropped our coverage. (a couple months after I changed my license, but hadn’t been notified). I went to court, but lost the case, and was fined 450 dollars and lost my license for six months. I wasn’t happay about it, but at least it was over and done with (I thought). I paid the fine, and got my license back in six months, and a month after that I moved back to Florida (thank God). I turned in my valid Jersey license and got back my Florida license. What I didn’t know was that New Jersey assessed a two hundred fifty dollar insurance surcharge that was to be paid each year for three years for a total of 750 dollars. I wasn’t hiding, but I didn’t think I had to notify the state that I was moving. I honestly thought that this was a free country. A year later, New Jersey suspended my license for non-payment of a surcharge. WTF is an insurance surcharge? I was fined. I paid. I left, and I didn’t have insurance in New Jersey or even a license there. Why didn’t they just tell me how much I owed so I could pay them and get it over with? TWENTY FIVE YEARS LATER, last week, I go to renew my FL DL, and New Jersey has somehow put a hold on it and they want $1347.64 (six hundred + dollars interest), plus another $100.00 for “restoration fees”. I guess the only things that don’t have a statute of limitations is tax, murder and MVR fees. I paid them off, but God damn the state of New Jersey and I hope the entire state falls into the ocean. I will never return to that cesspool.

There’s nothing left of my town and much of this state to regret leaving it. I grew up in a typical American suburb. Now it has been completely overrun by third world immigrants who refuse to assimilate.
